Cant find Verizon WWAN on T60p
I did a clean install of my Windows XP Professional on my Lenovo T60p.
I am not able to see my Verizon WWAN. I don’t see it in Device Manager.
I have downloaded and installed Verizon Driver Package 7mwc03ww.exe. It said it was for a MC5720 Modem and I think that is what I have but am not sure.
I have downloaded and installed the F5 Hotkey Driver 7avu43ww.exe software.
It’s turned on in the BIOS.
I’m stuck. Can anyone help me get this fixed? I am not a computer expert, just know enough to get into trouble.
Thanks in advance.
Neil

Download and install Verizon Access Manager. It has its own drivers, but aside from the driver issue, that's the software you will need to connect to Verizon's EV-DO service.

Thanks for the information but it hasn’t let me fix the problem. I downloaded and installed that program but nothing has changed. When I run it here is what I get.
"The WWAN device is disabled. Please enable the device and try again. (The WWAN device may be disabled by a wireless ON/OFF button. For more information, refer to the documentation that came with your computer.)"
The device is not showing any place. I looked in BIOS but it isn’t there. It is an internal device but I can’t find it anyplace. It doesn’t show in Device Manager. I just did a clean install of XP but didn’t change any switch settings.
I am still looking.

There is a Hardware Wireless ON/OFF switch located on the front of your T60p - please make this is set to the ON position.
