Change XGA to SXGA+ non IBM

#1 Post by batam » Thu Apr 24, 2008 10:54 am

Hi,

I am wondering if I can take an HP NC6000 SXGA+ 14" screen and replace my current XGA screen on the T41 ?

Are the LCD bare screens all compatible ?

Thanks.

They are not all the same. In fact, they are mostly different. Some combinations will short out the motherboard.

Oh, ok.
So the best way to do it is to find a real IBM SXGA+ display...

Thank you.

Not only that, it must be from a T40/41/42/43.
