FS: Compaq Armada 7400 laptop *REDUCED*
For sale here is a Compaq Armada 7400 with 300Mhz. CPU, 2x128=256MB RAM (the maximum), and a 6,4GB HD.
It includes the AC-adapter, a 1.44 Floppy drive and a CD-ROM.
The battery still holds a charge.
There's also a very flat 10/100 PCMCIA NIC with dongle connector.
It has a 14.1" LCD without any blemishes, and a rock-solid chassis.
Around the hinges, on the outer corners, some small parts of the plastic covering those hinges have broken off, but they have no effect whatsoever on the otherwise fantastic shape this laptop is in.
The keyboard has all the keys and is fully working.
This laptop also has the 'beloved' TrackPoint, that you are used to find on a TP.
It currently has XP-Pro installed, which runs without any issues.
There's no COA, but this XP version needs not to be registered.
It also works great with any PCMCIA WiFi card (not included).
Considering it's age, this laptop is in fantastic shape, and would be great for someone who just wants to browse the web and do some emailing and word processing, OR who needs to run e.g. car diagnostics, or wants to try out a Linux flavor.
For specs, see this web-page:
http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-Compaq-Arma ... 387071-002
Substitute the CPU (this one has 300MHz), RAM (this one has 256MB) and HD (this one has 6.4GB) and you're nearly there.
I'm looking for $80.- o.n.o. (+ shipping).
NEW PRICE: $65.- o.n.o. (+ shipping).
Shipping only to CONUS in 2 packages via USPS Priority Mail, 1 for the laptop with battery, HD and CD-ROM, and 1 for the adapter, NIC card/dongle and Floppy drive.
Depending on your ZIP-code, estimate about $15-18 shipping.
Payment via Postal Money Order or PayPal (non-CC preferred).
PM me, or post here, if you have any questions.
