Cellphone Bluetooth Car Kit and California Law

Well, California's Cell phone law will come into effect July 1, 2008. No more talking on the phone while driving unless you have a hands free device.

I own a few Bluetooth ear pieces, but was wondering if anyone can recommend a car kit. The last time I checked on one was when Motorola came out with the IHF1000 several years back. I've fallen way behind the curve on what's the latest and greatest.

Anyone have any good recommendations/experiences with car kits?

Chicago instituted this sort of law a while back and I was pleased to find out that officers actually do pull people over for it. I dabbled with a few hands free devices but in the end I have decided to just not answer it or not call from it while driving.

Making and taking calls while driving just adds more stress to my day.

We have this law here in NY ... had it for a few years actually. I have the bluetooth headset crap (came with my phone) and I use it. When I have to talk on the phone in the car my conversation is "I'm driving, call back later".

I don't see it enforced at all ... people continue driving while on the phone even the police officers.
