For anyone waiting for the U110...

First, forgive me for this blasphemy. I've been a Thinkpads-only person since the mid-1990's (first one was a Thinkpad 360C). Never even looked at another brand until now. But I really needed something light to complement my 15.4" T61P. My wife has an X61s which is nice, but I really wanted something a little bit smaller, maybe with a widescreen. The U110 looked good. But I also wanted an optical drive. X300 was too expensive and too big. So then I crossed over to the Sony-side and found this:
