Can't get X20 boot to external monitor

#1 Post by ajgiampa » Sat Apr 26, 2008 7:47 pm

I'm having trouble getting my X20 to boot to the external monitor. It keeps defaulting back to the laptop display, but I want it to boot to the external monitor at 1280x1024 resolution, instead of the 800x600 resolution of the laptop lcd.

Is there a setting somewhere that I can tell the laptop to always boot to the higher resolution external display?

Thanks for any input!!

I used my widescreen desk LCD (1440x900) regularly on X20 and once you set it to boot from CRT in BIOS, it should do it flawlessly.
