Maximum widescreen resolution for external monitor (DVI)?

Hi,

I plan to connect a 1680x1050 21" TFT via my advanced dock's DVI output to my T61 with nvidia quadro nvs 140 graphics. I want to use both the internal and external screen simultaneously, as an extended desktop.
According to nvidia's site http://www.nvidia.de/page/quadronvs_notebook_ts.html the max. resolution for this card is 1600x1200, which is obviously in 4:3 terms. Can it also handle 1680x1050? Otherwise I would have to buy a 1440x900 screen (19").

Any help is appreciated.

There's one member who got 1680x1050 (Nvidia 140m) on an advanced dock with DVI in this thread. You can contact them and ask what LCD they have ...
