#1 Post by 90base » Mon Apr 28, 2008 2:07 am

I have a Thinkpad 1858-CTO I was just wondering what socket processor that I have and what all processors that I can put in it. I took it apart once and looked but I forget.

Thanks

There are some 400MHz and 533Mhz FSB processors that work with 1858xxx. Do you know the model if your current processor ? If not, which operating system are you using ?

Matías

Holy Friggin Thread Revival. I have LONG since changed the processor in my unit. It hase a mpga479. It had a 1.4 Celeron, 400 in it. I bought a 1.5Pentium 400, that was said to work with my machine off of somone on this board but it did not work. So I did even better and bought a 1.79 Centrino 533 and it works GREAT. It sped up my lappy ALOT.

Thanks for Responding though.

Thanks
Brandon
