#1 Post by William Hsueh » Mon Apr 28, 2008 7:37 am

i have been syncing my t61 with treo 680 via bluetooth with no problem for many months. however, few days ago, not knowing why, it's not working anymore. treo can recognize the computer, but not the other way round. i get messges such as:
no bluetooth device found or
unable to start the bluetooth stack service.

can anyone help? thanks.

William, perhaps you could help me out on something similar? Treo 650, T61p, and while both have finally admitted to seeing each other (for a while, the Tpad say the Treo, the Treo kept saying "huh? What computer?") now I get an error message on the Treo about not finding the virtual serial port. And an error message on the Tpad about the serial port being unavailable or in use--which it isn't, there's no COM4 here, and no virtual ports set up in anything else. But since that only seems to make sense in the context of the OLD Palm Desktop software, and I'm using the "new" aka beta version for Vista...I have no idea what it wants.

On your Tpad, do you just have the cable and BT connections set up? Or the "serial" one as well?
