Power jack for T-40

Last night I accidently yanked the power cord of my T40 and now there seems to be a loose connection. I think it is the power jack (yellow connector) which is busted. I tried to find help on the IBM/Lenovo website on how to replace one but there was no such information.

There seem to be thrid party vendors which are selling the jacks.

I was wondering if somebody has changed these before?

PS: I will try another power adapter this evening to eliminate if it is that.

It can be changed. It just plugs in. You need to remove the motherboard from the base and take the back frame off.
