**SOLD**: Macbook Pro in Excellent Shape, Looking for X61/s
**SOLD**: Macbook Pro in Excellent Shape, Looking for X61/s
Greetings,
I am looking to trade my 15" Macbook Pro for a Thinkpad X61/s. I have found a need for increased portability beyond what my MBP is giving me, and I have been an avid Thinkpad user for several years.
Stats on Macbook Pro are as follows:
Macbook Pro 1.83 Core Duo
15.4" Matte Screen
OS 10.5 Fresh Install, Original 10.4 Disks Included
2 GB Ram
100GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive
128mb x1600 ATI video
Gigabit Ethernet
Superdrive DVD Burner
Backlite Keyboard
Frontrow Remote
Original Adapter Cables (DVI-VGA, DVI-CompositeY, power adapter ends)
2 Magsafe Power Cables
Original Packaging
The unit has a Marware Wrist Protector installed, essentially a light-gray leatherette wrap for the section of the notebook below the keyboard. It's really nice -- allows machine to close just fine, and keeps the wrist rest in pristine condition if you wear a watch or bracelet while computing. I was very anal over the cosmetic condition of this machine, so there are absolutely no scratches on the machine beyond a couple very small, light ones on the bottom of the machine.
The battery on this machine has 137 cycles on it. It still holds ~75-80% of it's original maximum. I tend to get 1.5-2 hours out of it under normal operations, less if I do something graphics intensive.
This machine just fell out of normal warranty from Apple last month. While this machine has had absolutely no issues at all, it is something to keep in mind. I guarantee the machine against DOA.
As for a X-type Thinkpad, I'd prefer near maxed memory, 80+ GB Hard Drive @ 7200 (pref), Cingular/AT&T WWAN would also be great. A media slice would be a huge bonus as well. I don't mind if it's the "s" version with the LV chip or not, looking primarily for the portability here, and power of either model would be sufficient. May consider a tablet as well.
I will post up some images later on after work.

I also added that I have all original adapters, as well as a second power adapter, and some warranty info.
Thanks,
Justin
