getting t61p drivers for xp64

i have problems running programs in vista business which came with my thinkpad. after struggling due to wierd settings i have xp64 on the t61p now but system update fails to run.

it claims to fail to get user system identification and quits out of the update. unfortunately i went then and downloaded a bunch of drivers by hand for XP. when I tried to install them they all claimed they couldnt be used on this machine. I think the drivers werent meant to be used in a 64bit OS. where are the drivers for xp64?


edit: On a side note i hosed my vista install and wasnt able to back it up yet. will i be able to get recorvery dvd's from lenovo?
