Trackpad question.

#1 Post by iMav » Tue May 06, 2008 12:53 pm

I know that the R(e) and X lines are the only thinkpads that don't include a trackpad. However, I thought I read that you can order replacement keyboard bezels (or whatever you call them) without the trackpad for other models. Is this true?

I'd love to have a trackpad-less, modern T-series Thinkpad. (yes I know you can disable the trackpad...however, I don't want one period). ;)

The last series this option was available for was T4x, at least to the best of my knowledge and belief.

what's frustrating is that you can get no better than XGA or WXGA with the two trackpad-less models.
