TRADED! Z61t for X-series machine, or $425 cash

#1 Post by ajkula66 » Sat May 10, 2008 8:46 pm

What I have here is a brand new, opened box (by myself) Z61t that someone had me order for them and subsequently changed their mind and got one of the T61 units I had...I know this is not an easy ThinkPad to sell, that's why I'm looking for a trade.

ThinkPad Z61t 9440-A4U

Original description:
Celeron M 420(1.6GHz)
256MB RAM
40GB 5400rpm HD.....................actually a 60Gb/5400
14in 1280x800 LCD
Intel 950
CDRW/DVD
802.11abg wireless
Modem
1Gb Ethernet
UltraNav
4c Li-Ion batt...............................actually a 7-cell
WinXP Pro

Warranty until 05/09/2009. The machine has been turned on, tested, battery charged and then put back in the box. Total runtime was two hours or less.

What I'm looking for:

X22/23/24
(internal wi-fi a must) + some cash/stuff/???

X31/X32/X40/X41 - let's talk depending on what you have

X6x - cash or stuff that is of interest to you coming from me...

If you feel that you have something else that I might be interested in, by all means drop me a PM.

A few members have asked about cash price, and I've set it at $425 firm which is what I've paid for it.

Questions/concerns/brainstorms are welcome.

I don't believe that these units have a titanium lid.

I'm not saying that Z61t machines haven't been made with titanium lids, just that I don't believe that this particular model has one.

So, no, not all Z61t have come with a titanium lid.

I'm typing on that exact model and it did not come with a titanium lid.

It is, however, a very nice machine and easily upgraded with a Core CPU. I upgraded mine with a T2300 Core CPU.

Not to mention that the black lid model is lighter ;). Good luck with the sale George. If you ever add X30's to the above list lets talk...LOL.

Just add a nice Core Duo CPU like this one --> http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=62282 -> and that's one fine package. Tough to beat a new Core Duo 5 lb. ThinkPad for under $500. I couldn't resist...
