System will not Standy, hibernate, or turn off the display

it seems like ever since I got that recent power manager update from the update manager these functions seem to no longer work. Well, Hibernation sometimes works, usually not though.

Any suggestions to fix this? I'm thinking if possible, roll back the updateto get back what I used to have, however that would be done.

Is the ACPI driver (Thinkpad PM Device) also the latest?
