For sale is my 2nd HD adapter from my T40. This is NOT an OEM part. It has worked flawlessly for me, but I will be getting rid of my T40 soon, so I have no use for it. This fits all T4x models for sure. Other models are up to the buyer to determine.

According to ThinkPad 2nd HDD Adapter for Ultrabay Slim for this adapter with the P/N = 41U3148 (or FRU = 41N5661) it here says:

Compatible with ThinkPad R50, R50p, R51, R52, T40, T41, T41p, T42, T42p, T43, T43p , X40(1), X41(1), and X41 Tablet(2), Series notebooks and optional docking solutions.

(1) Requires either the ThinkPad X4 UltraBase or the ThinkPad X4 Dock for installation.

(2) Requires the ThinkPad X4 Dock for installation.
