T41 5-second Migraine BEEPS! No resolution?

It's driving me insane!

I'm still not clear if this is the "fan issue" that restarts every 5 seconds. This is a HIGH-PITCHED beep that emits from the area near to the left of the touchpad.

I know there has been unofficial and now official embedded controllers that supposedly fix the issue to the point that it's bearable. None of these updates have resolved a thing. I don't get why people have gotten a "pleasurable" 30 second delay insead and I don't.

I'm getting headaches because I work in a relatively quiet environment and the noise is very prevalent.

What can I do about this? Does that "other" fan people have bought from the other model work sucessfully? I'm not sure if I'm having the type of problem that would benefit from a different fan.

No thoughts, but a bump for what sounds like a highly annoying problem! Sorry to hear about that!
