IBM Enhanced Performance USB Keyboard (89P8800) problems

#1 Post by virge » Thu May 15, 2008 3:58 pm

So here's the problem:

I am currently using this keyboard:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-54780

Its plugged into the mini-dock with my T42P. The minidock ports operate at USB 2.0, but the 2 USB ports on the keyboard only operate at USB 1.1. The specs say that it should be 2.0. I can't figure out how to get the computer to recognize that. Its annoying. I've tried the drivers that came with the keyboard and the ones on IBM's website and it hasn't made a difference.

Edit: Still no go on the USB, but I figured out the button issue by downloading the driver package located at: http://members.driverguide.com/driver/d ... rid=576681
For some reason I couldn't and still can't figure out why this isn't linked to the IBM support page for this keyboard.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

True USB 2.0 will be labelled as "high speed"..

From the wesbite you have provided, they only claimed the keyboard is "USB 2.0 Full Speed ".
