Upgrading the T23 Keyboard

Is it possible to put a T30 keyboard in a T23? Has anyone attempted this strange thing?

The following is just an observation I made:
My friend just purchased an R series laptop, it seems to have the same layout as the T30 Keyboard, only the RED mouse pointer was softer than the T30 and the T23. I know you can put the softer mouse pointer on the older systems. This will put an end to what I call "Thinkpad Finger" when you get that little dent in your finger from too much use!!

There are 3 types of trackpoint caps, the rough cat's tongue being the most popular (I think). There is a soft dome, and I don't remember the name of the other one.

Thanks for the replies. I looked up the soft dome on Ebay, and sure enough their they were. So I am going to order a packet.

Regarding the T30 keyboard in a T23. I have taken the T30 keyboard off my T30 lacking a hard drive, it looks like it could fit, but what would be the point?

I think I have figured this one out. My new project is removing the keyboard completely from my T23, and just having a black case on the cover.

I know, you might think what the heck is the point of that?

My answer? Just something to do!!!
