Has anyone successfully install WIN XP Sp3 on X41 Tablet?

I tried to install SP3 last night. The tablet won't boot normally. The HD seems to just spinnng and spinning.

Went into Safe mode as a last resort ( not wanting to wipe out my data), The pointing stick did not work, and there is no windows key to click on the start button! Thankfully, I have CCleaner on the desktop as a shortcut and I used it to uninstall SP3.

What a terrible experience, especially it is my wife's laptop.

All my drivers are uptodate.

I didn't have a problem installing SP3 from Windows Update, on a fresh installation of XPTE on an X41T.
