A21E UPGRADE TO WIN 2000 but using res&rec keep hidden p

hallo,
i would to upgrade my os win98se with a more useful win 2000 !
i have both the original installation win 2000 no brand and a ibm win 2000 ibm in my a31.
can i upgrade win98se and replace with win2000 changing even the os of the hidden partition with win98se?
how? i would use rescue and rcovery ..and i thought to use the recovery disk with win2000 of my a31..it could works?
some idea to upgrade totally os and hidden partition with win 2000?

You can't upgrade the hidden partition, but it doesn't really matter since W98 takes a minimal amount of space.

My advice would be to wipe the drive clean and do a fresh install of W2K.
