t60 hangs after resume

#1 Post by period3 » Wed May 21, 2008 1:46 pm

I have a T60, Core 1 Duo (T2500), X1300, 2 gb memory, 1 SATA drive and 1 PATA drive via ultrabay. Running Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron).

It suspends OK, but after it resumes I can only use the computer for about 30 seconds. After that, any application I open (eg. the terminal) draws a blank window and is unresponsive.

Anyone else with this problem? Is anybody able to successfully suspend/resume on their T60? I haven't been able to since Dapper....

Fedora 8 works great on my T60, with full suspend and resume, and using ATI's video driver and full desktop effects. (T2500, X1400, one SATA drive, 1GB RAM.)
Machine-Project: 750P, 600X, T42, T60, T400, X1 Carbon Touch
