This machine is ready to use. It has a bright, clear high-resolution screen, bluetooth, wireless a/b/g, fingerprint, a Matshita/Panasonic UJ-842 Multi-Burner II, and a core duo T2400 processor. The model originally came with an 80 GB drive. I got it without a drive and upgraded to a 100GB Hitachi drive. The original 512MB of memory was also upgraded to 1024MB, and the 6-cell battery was replaced by a high-capacity battery. I cannot guaranty battery life, but according to the battery management software the battery is in good condition and the cycle count is 61. I recovered the machine with the original factory image and applied all the driver and operating system updates, including XP Pro service pack 3. You also have the ability to burn your own set of factory restore disks. The IBM warranty runs until 5/14/2009.
