t61p froze while playing battlefield 2142

ok, so my t61p froze while playing battlefield 2142 (had to hold down the power button 2 reboot...aaaahhhh!!!)
not rlly sure if it was my internet
i dont think so cuz ctrl+alt+dlt wasnt working
im guessing it's the heat
cuz i was playing for awhile and had my t61p on for 8+ hrs plugged in
i dont have tpfanutility so i dont noe wat temps my thinkpad was running
but the air coming out of the vents was pretty hot
it's been hot bfore but never did that
im not gonna play anymore games until i make sure wat happend doesnt happen again
does any1 have any idea to wat happened?

no, i only have 2 GB 1 dimm
besides, i thought they fixed that problem for thinkpads ordered after wat was it? early april? ordered mine the 30th of april
