Security chip?

Is anybody using or has anble IBMs secuirty chip? How does it affect wireless (I have Intel 2200 BG with no problems whatsoever).

Anyway, should I activate the security chip?

The processes associated with it take up about 9-10MB of RAM. It gave me more trouble than gain, but then again, I don't have any really sensitive data on my HD.
