Restore Disks.

#1 Post by peterbarbosa » Wed May 28, 2008 1:33 pm

Hey everyone,

I have a thinkpad T61, and was wondering where I can get the restore disks. I loaded Ubuntu onto it, and deleted the recovery partition, and really don't want to have to order them from Lenovo.

Is there a website with the disks? It has Vista Ultimate 32bit on it.

MOD EDIT: Moved from X6x to T6x forum.

Have your credit card ready. You should have made the discs before you wiped the disk.

Call IBM Tech Support and tell them your HDD got corrupted and the recovery partition won't work. Don't pay the $45 unless you absolutely have to!

Yes, and if the second one doesn't budge, keep trying!
