CPU: 1.66 T2300 Core Duo
1.5gb Memory
80gb Hard Drive
OS: Windows XP Pro
STOP Theft Tag
GENERIC 9 cell battery
X1300 ATI card
14.1'' 1024x768 monitor
DVDRW/CDRW Drive

Thinkvatage Software
Adobe Reader 8
IE7
Outlook Express
Windows Defender
Windows Media Player
Windows Movie Maker
Norton Ghost 12

A note about XP Pro and Office 2007: When I brought it to get XP Home installed, I made it very clear to them that I would be selling the laptop. I am assuming there should be no problems with the software since the college was well aware that I was selling it.

Blemishes
There are a few small scratches on the lid.
The L and O key got a small amount of model glue on them.
There is a mark on the palm wrest bezel from model glue.
There is a small circle in the screen from the trackpoint cover - not noticeable
Left touchpad button is loose, still works but loose. Not sure why, I always use the trackpoint

About:
I'm selling this because I am getting a T61 though my college in August. Since I already have the newer Dell, the older T60 gets put up for sale. Also for some classes I have to run 3 or 4 virtual machines - the 1.66 core duo has a hard time keeping up with with all the virtual machines.

The laptop works great and has been used by me almost daily since August of 2006. I used it for taking notes, web browsing, etc in class so the LCD has been opened and closed a lot - it has been tightened two times

In October 2007, I upgraded the memory with a Hynix 1gb stick, total of 1.5gb.

... what type of display (size and resolution) does this CTO model have?

PS: Your T2300 CPU is not (as mentioned) a Core 2 Duo, but only a Core Duo (see e.g. List of Intel Core microprocessors).

It has Samsung's 14.1" 1024x768 display. If it had 1400x1050, this T60 would not be so cheap!

You may want to remove the serial #, never know who might be reading...
