The GPU fix didn't work for my t40p + question about selling

Followed the guide and all that, then put it back together, and it's doing the exact same thing as before (powering on and just running the fan and doing nothing else).

I've decided that I'm just going to buy a newer thinkpad (with a 3-5 year warranty ;)) in the fall when school starts up.

How much should I sell the parts t40p for? It has 1gb of ram, the high res screen, and a less than a year old standard size battery. I will not include the hard drive, however.

If you plan to reuse the HDD in a newer ThinkPad, take note that T40 use PATA drives and everything from T60 up uses SATA ones so you won't be able to put the drive in.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm just saving it because it has files that I want.
