I have a T61p that I'm trying to use between work & home on a daily basis. I have a large LCD (24") at both locations that I want to use as a primary monitor. I've tried using a program such as UltraMon to establish "configurations" for Home (Laptop Screen off, Ext LCD as primary) and LaptopOnly (Laptop LCD primary/on, Ext LCD off), but when the laptop is docked, it "automatically" attempts to guess which screen to use (seems to default to ext LCD if one is plugged in) and lowers the resolution to 800x600.
Is there some other application on a thinkpad that is attempting to do this configuration automatically and interfering with UltraMon? I'd like the thinkpad to *always* leave the config as I have set it unless I tell it to change. How can I stop this "auto-configuring" when leaving/entering a dock that has a monitor plugged into it?
