IBM Maximiser

#1 Post by Edwardo » Sat May 31, 2008 4:36 pm

My system is a 1871CTO T43 system. It does not have the IBM Battery Maximiser for extending battery life and for other useful information that it offers. For this model notebook the product downloads offered by IBM is Power Manager. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I have an older T30 that has maximiser, go figure.

Use Power Manager on your T43.

If you look at the software/driver matrix for T43, you'll see that Battery MaxiMiser is intended for use only if you have Windows NT installed.

No, as Power Manager is not supported on the T41.
