LF: 560X pcmcia port cover and 240 floppy port cover

#1 Post by schnitzelcore » Sat May 31, 2008 5:02 pm

Found a nice 560X, but the missing cardbus port cover creates a bit of a gaping hole :(
Anyone?

Edit:

Also the happy owner of a 240 now. Splendid machine, only the floppy port cover is missing...

Ok, my 560X is almost perfect now: it even has the elusive rear port cover.
But I can't find a pcmcia cover anywhere. Well, except for places that charge $25 for even the smallest part and then another $25 for the cheapest method of shipping to Europe.

You can buy whole 560X's on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/IBM-Thinkpad-560X-2 ... 0265095479

I'm willing to buy it for you and ship it on to you at cost of eBay-purchase, PayPal-fees plus effective shipping to NL.

PS: Als je een 'offer' wil maken op de eerste, of interesse hebt in een van de anderen, laat me weten wat je prijs-voorstelling is.

RealBlackStuff, thank you for the offer, I appreciate it. I would consider it if you (or someone else) also needed a 560 for parts and the machine would not go to waste. As it is, I find buying a complete (if broken) machine just for the cover taking it too far.
