X60 Ultrabase with X61 Tablet

#1 Post by MovingAverage » Thu Jun 05, 2008 7:54 pm

Do all the X60+ models share a common Ultrabase? I am thinking of buying a tablet and borrowing an ultrabase from my friend because I don't anticipate using the CDROM that much after I do a clean install of Windows.

also note that in the past, with the X41Tablet, some USB CD drives, including older IBM branded models, were flaky when trying to make the recovery CD set and do some other tasks..

an ultrabase is the way to go even if you need to borrow one..

they can also be found in the secondary market like the forum marketplace from time to time and on ebay..
