x60 not charging.... help please

For some strange reason it just cant get a good connection

It will charge if the cord is perfect and straight.... but not always... sometimes all the way in sometimes no

the plug looks fine and so does the port... should i just order a new part for the notebook or is this a known powersupply plug issue?

Have you tired a different ac adapter already? If nothing seems to work, Do you still have warranty on it? I would give lenovo a call if all else fails. I came upon this problem once and a new adapter fixed it. Hopefully it will be a simple fix for you.
