iSERIES 1200 1161-43U 256MB Low Density

Has anyone put a 256Mb Low Density on a i1200? I just bought one to try and it didn't even recognized it at all. Is my TP or the RAM is bad?

It only recognized 56.0MB which is the onboard ram.
240x, 500Mhz 192mb
390x, 300Mhz 128mb, bad kb.
600x, 500Mhz 256mb
i1400 2621 433Mhz 256mb
770x, 300Mhz 128mb
