Hello,
When I pressed the Battery Gauge Reset on my X61s, it went into the charge cycle but then stopped at my custom threshold of 90%. It did not go into a discharge and recharge cycle at all as described in the Power Manager help. The Last gauge reset shows today. Is this normal for LION batteries? I am afraid to do a manual FULL discharge since lot of the posts advise against a FULL discharge.

well that's what the battery gauge thing does anyways. The only difference is that it does it automatically.
