What happened with the news thread about the new series ???

Did the thread 'X200 & SL series on paper, future thinkpads, warranty' violate a forum rule? Surely an imminent release can be discussed in detail here. Mods, please enlighten us.

And what was ryengineer's weird copyright notice at the top of the post good for?

Hi

The ThinkPad SL300 looks great but IMHO ,the ThinkPad T300 would be much better

Spec same like in T400 but with 13,3" screen would be perfect

What do you think about that

I've been saying that it's criminal to overlook demand for a T300 13.3'' notepad for awhile now.

I think there's a sizeable minority of people out there who want performance greater than that of the X300. As well as the more features for the weight/performance ratio than the X Series' leaning towards that of mobility at the expense of importance.
