problem maybe solved with hibernation/sleep/restart

Looking on another thinkpad chatlist I found someone who seemed to have solved sleep/restart problems by deleting his back up programs and norton. I simply deleted norton and now have not had the restart/sleep-won't wake up issue recur...so..
