I recently sent the notebook in because I was getting constant blue screens and to try to get the mouse buttons fixed. Lenovo says that my blue screens were being caused by my hard drive, which is not the original drive that came with the notebook. I can understand that. But they also claim that my mouse button problem is also being caused by the hard drive, and they are refusing to service it. How can this POSSIBLY be a hard drive problem?!?!!
I have completely restored my hard drive to the factory state, using IBM's rescue & recovery utilities. I formatted the entire hard drive twice. The blue screens are gone, but the mouse buttons are still broken. I've checked the UltraNav settings and changed them around, but nothing happens. Has anyone had this problem before? I want to get this fixed before the warranty runs out in August!
Thanks...
