I have a A21M which does not let me enter setup since it is powerup locked. The F1 F12 prompts are there. If I press F1 I am taken to the padlock symbol and the smaller square symbol to it's left. If I don't press F1 (to enter setup) it times out and gives me the padlock symbol. Also I get the message that time is not set
I read that by removing the CMOS battery from its connector, wait
for a few minutes and then power up, that the CMOS will be set to default which disables the lock. This is not working.
Any ideas??
