65W or 90W power adapter?

#1 Post by mtbiac » Mon Jun 16, 2008 10:54 am

My new T61 just came, but I noticed that they gave me a 65W power adapter. My older T61 was slower and they gave me a 90W power adapter....should I keep the 90w since it charges faster? any harm in doing so? Don't mind the size difference

Thanks

They use 65W on machines having integrated graphics. Either adapter will work.

My T60 with the Mobility X1300 came with a 65W adapter though.. Does this mean I really should be using the 90W one instead? The LCD was a little dim, but I thought that could've been simply the LCD backlight starting to wear, although I suppose if it needed that extra 25W it could cause problems.
