R61i - Disable Fingerprint Reader on Startup?

#1 Post by tpangel » Wed Jun 18, 2008 9:23 am

I have a Thinkpad R61i

Each time the computer is booted, it asks me to activate the fingerprint reader.

How can I disable this?

What startup line can I disable?

Disabling "cssauth.exe" in the autoruns should be enough to keep it from getting on your nerves.
T61p 6460-67G; 15,4 WSXGA+ W7P x64, no hairdryer.
T43p 2668-G2G, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, internal hairdryer
T23 2647-9LG, 14,1 SXGA+, XP Pro, no hairdryer
