Inquiry:memory extension
Inquiry:memory extension
I want to extend an additional memory 1Gb for my X61, wondering whether there's any special requirement for that? Or can i just bring a new one(any brand) and add it by myself? thanks a lot

Easiest way is to remove the memory cover on the bottom of the laptop (you have to remove it anyway to install the extra memory).
The SODIMM will have a sticker on it stating the spec.
