T42p always in charging mode!

hi i just got my refurbish T42p, the machine is simply awesome.
However, no matter i am charging or not, it still indicate that it is on charging mode. My girl friend has a T41 and i use her battery to try, same thing happen so is not the battery problem, anybody know how can i fix this?

Update the embedded controller firmware and the BIOS (in that order)...

hi, today i updated the embedded controller and bios, after i installed the the newer controller it work back to normal! however after i update to the newest bios 3.13 it doesnt work again.
anyone know how to roll back bios? i use the window system restore but didnt work
