How about model number, warranty info and asking price for T60?

This bit for the T60 does not sound quite right: flexview screen 1400 x 1050 , sounds more like SXGA+

Aren't those one and the same?

AFAIK Flexviews are UXGA with 1600x1200 resolution (but I may be wrong).

Gents,
It is true that Flexview LCD's are 15" in these models, but they did come in SXGA+ (1400x1050) and UXGA (1600x1200) varieties. So, we are talking about a 15" T60 here.

I'm pretty sure, SXGA+ is also Flexview. It was a Flexview on my T42, and I believe it's the same on a T60, only with a T60p you also got the choice of an even higher resolution Flexview - the UXGA.

Those look like some great specs, I wish I could've gone for it, but it would've been outside my budget range anyway. Bump for great seller though, I got my T60 off him.

They exist in UXGA ( from BOE-Hydis, IDtech) and SXGA+ (from LGPhilips, BOE-Hydis (exists, but no reports), IDtech) :)
I'm not totally sure, but i think C2D T60 or T60p never came with UXGA.

Troels is right: by the time C2D CPUs were introduced on T6x units, Lenovo was out of UXGA LCDs, and all the late T60p 4:3/15" units have SXGA+ IPS LCDs.

I am aware of several successfull conversions of these machines to UXGA, though.

Would you please post model number or link to any pics, or pm/email them to me?
Also I'd appreciate the serial # so I could check its service and parts on the lenovo website. Thanks!

Would you please rate both the physical & functional condition of the T60 overall, especially its keyboard and the LCD (its evenness, brightness, crispness, dead pixels, scratches, etc).

Also, could you please give the cycle count and remaining capacity of the battery. Have you used/tried the dvd burner. Last, not important but for completeness, do know whether it has the atheros/thinkpad or intel wifi card.

Thanks!

The physical condition i would say it is a 9.5/10 and functional condition is 10/10 everything works just fine.
Keyboard and LCD have not seen much use, since i have been docking it most of the time. It is also the reason that it is in pristine physical condition. There is no shinny keys, no dead pixels, no scratches.

the 9 cell extended battery has 166 cycle count with a remaining capacity of 71.39/84.24. The burner has been tested, and wifi is intel

While the serial number is great for checking warranty, I wouldn't post it anywhere. The 7-digit machine type could still be useful. It should appear (IIRC) on the first screen of the BIOS. My T60's for example is 2623-D7U.

PM sent.

Is the ThinkVantage Suite still installed? And is the hidden recovery partition (for rescue & recovery) still intact?

You can find the Model and Type by visiting the Lenovo site and clicking the auto detect icon.

Also, Belarc www.belarc.com will do the same thing.
