T30 Video Resolution Issue

#1 Post by freeFLY3r » Sat Dec 18, 2004 2:26 am

OK,

here is my problem:

I recently bought a Mini-Dock and a 1900x1200 monitor for my thinkpad T30 (16MB Radeon 7500). The problem is, when I have the device using DVI-D it will do 1900x1200, but it 'pans' around the screen. This of course won't work.

with analog VGA, it will do 1600x1200, but the next possible resolution is 1048x1536.

I don't really care if I use VGA or DVI-D, but am REALLY hoping to find a solution. Can anyone here help?? Thanks SO SO SO much.

TJ

Hi -

Where did you get the omega drivers? I've got a T30 as well, and I'm having trouble with recent versions of the IBM-supplied driver package. I have to back off the accelleration settings or else a key (proprietary) application I use fails. This only started two versions ago. I'm hoping the Omega drivers might fare better.
