For an intelligent person, I do screw up royally sometimes. I ordered my R61i on 6/16 when it was 25% off for Father's Day. (I wanted something to keep my X60s company when I'm not home). I was very excited to get it for the price I did (and with XP installed, to boot!)

THEN, it dawns on me today... I didn't do the education discount. D'oh! I called them, and since I ordered it the price went up. So I'm not better off now WITH the discount and the higher price (Who ever heard of computers going UP in price??) He said had I ordered it with the discount last week I would have ("only") saved about $35 because it was so cheap to begin with, but it's the principle, you know? I _could_ have had the extra $35 off. <groan> I am eating salt and vinegar potato chips to drown my grief.

The good news is, I ordered it on the 16th and they gave me a ship date of 7/21. It shipped this morning Just wanted to share my story of idiocy.
