X41 Tablet pen buttons not working?!

#1 Post by mtbiac » Tue Jun 24, 2008 11:27 am

I just bought a brand new pen for my X41 tablet, but I can't get the buttons on the pen to work (right click, erase). I had recently done a fresh install of the IBM preload OS/software. I have the pen button setttings enabled in the control panel. What else can I do? Is there some special setting I'm missing? Something that I can do/reset on the pen itself?

thanks!

After reloading the OS have you updated it completely?

Also, the digitizer itself could be defective.

It's most likely the pen's button(or what's inside) is broken. One of my X41t's pen buttons(the upper one) only works half of the time now.
