SOLD:x300 THINKPAD 64GB SDD SOLID STATE DRIVE 1.8 SATA II

#1 Post by ladyfinger69 » Wed Jun 25, 2008 5:11 am

Please verify compatibility prior to purchase.

The interface is SATA 2 and the form factor is 1.8", not the standard 2.5". These are the ultra low profile drives. If you have a laptop that takes 2.5" drives, I am sure you can find an adapter. But the interface on these drives is SATA 2, so please make sure your have the correct connectors and parts to utilize these drives. I will not accept refunds due to incompatibility. Please make sure you are buying the right parts. Feel free to email me prior to purchase to verify. If you need the 1.8" to 2.5" Lenovo converter part number i can provide but you need to buy it yourself from the service centre.

IF YOU ARE USING T61 LAPTOPN AND CAN'T FINE THE STORAGE CONVERTER VISIT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE AND LOOK FOR ITEM 13.

There is no such adapter, unfortunately. Your only choice is either SuperTalent SSD (1.8" form factor with female IDE connector) or Compact Flash mod.

Yes, I meant the buyer would need an 1.8 SATA-IDE converter, wouldn't they?

No, the converter is for micro-SATA to SATA, there's no IDE interface involved whatsoever.
