will pc-dos be available again for purchase?

does anyone know if/when pc-dos will be available again as an OS choice for the T61P?

why would you want PC-DOS anyway..?

I haven't checked when it was offered, but I imagine it would be cheaper than Vista/XP/SUSE models. If you have no intention of running any of these, why would you want to pay for them?

IBM used to sell a few ThinkPads with no hard drive at all. You might ask your salesguy if that's an option.

If you really need PC DOS, then you can still buy it:

It's the latest Y2K compliant version from IBM.

But why not go with free alternatives like FreeDOS or something like that?
