X41 Boot From External CD/DVD Drive?

Hey, Thinking about getting a x41, I'll be installing a fresh XP Pro to it. I have a USB DVD drive.

Now, will the x41 boot from external USB DVD drives so I can install XP?

Or Do I need a dock...?

You don't need a dock, it will boot from a USB drive just fine.
